ClearCut Auto Inc. ("ClearCut", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain English, what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We collect only what we need to help you buy a vehicle.
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect your name, email address and phone number, along with details you choose to share about your vehicle search — such as your budget, preferences, trade-in details and your answers to the Vehicle Match Quiz. If you become a client, payment is handled by Stripe and paperwork is completed through DocuSign; we do not store your full card number.
We use your information to respond to your enquiry, send you your quiz results, provide our broker services, and — only if you opt in — to follow up with you about your vehicle search. We do not use your information for unrelated marketing.
We never sell your information, and we never share it for anyone else's marketing. When you hire us to find or negotiate a vehicle, we share only the details needed to carry out what you've asked us to do — for example, giving a dealership your name and contact details to finalize a purchase you've approved, or passing relevant information to a lender or insurer. We also rely on service providers that help us run the business — such as our form and email tools, Stripe for payments and DocuSign for documents — who handle your data only as needed to provide their service. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
You can decline follow-up at any time, and you can ask us what information we hold about you or request that we delete it. Just email us at the address below and we will take care of it.
We take reasonable steps to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your details with care.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
