ClearCut Auto is a licensed, fee-only vehicle buyer's broker. You decide what you want. We take as much of the buying off your plate as you'd like handed off: the research, the dealership calls, the back-and-forth over numbers, the negotiating, the hours in the office. We don't sell cars and we don't take a dollar from dealerships. You make the decisions; we handle everything around them.
Before they sign, most people call someone. A parent. A partner. A friend who's bought a lot of cars. They send a photo of the worksheet and ask the only question that matters: does this look right? If you don't have that person, or you'd rather ask someone who does this for a living and works only for you, that's what we do. Connor Nishimura spent eight years inside BC dealerships in sales, finance and finance management. He now sits on the buyer's side of the desk, and only the buyer's side.
Hand off one of these or all of them. You keep every decision that matters.
Plenty of dealerships are run well and staffed by good people. The problem is simpler than that: they do this every day and you do it every few years. Our job is to close that gap so the conversation is between two prepared parties. That's all.
Eight years in BC dealerships: sales, finance office, finance manager. Licensed by the Vehicle Sales Authority of BC as a broker-agent (B70016). Paid only by the buyer. Based in South Surrey / White Rock, serving buyers across British Columbia by phone and video.
No. Most people call before they've set foot in a dealership.
No. We have no arrangements with any dealer and take no referral fees.
Not with Concierge. Once the paperwork and insurance are done, the selling dealer delivers the vehicle to you locally, so you never have to set foot in the dealership. If the dealer is outside your local area, such as the Okanagan or Vancouver Island, transport costs extra: a third-party carrier quotes it, you agree to it in writing, and you pay the carrier directly. With Negotiation, you pick the vehicle up at the dealership. With Strategy or Clarity, you deal with the dealership yourself, using our advice.
No. It's for anyone buying without a car person to call. We wrote this page because buying alone is the situation we hear about most from women, and we wanted to answer it directly.
